Archive of Photographs
During the production of its publications, the St. Albert Historical Society came into possession of a significant collection of historical photographs. These are now preserved in an archival collection known as the St. Albert Historical Society Fonds currently managed by the Musée Héritage Museum. The collection can be viewed in person at the Museum. Copies of individual photographs are available from the Museum for a nominal fee. Appropriate credit to the Museum and the Society is required for the use of any photograph from the St. Albert Historical Society Fonds.
The Echoes is the St. Albert Historical Society’s periodic newsletter. Begun in 1974, The Echoes is now published three to four times per year and contains a variety of articles from historical commentaries to advising members of upcoming events
A number of historical articles previously published in The Echoes, The Black Robe’s Vision and other publications have been compiled and are available for viewing.
Since its formation in 1968, the St. Albert Historical Society has initiated or been involved with a number of significant community projects. These have been summarized and are available for viewing.
