Amazingly thirty years have passed since Black Robe’s Vision, the original two volume history of St. Albert, was published in 1985. The St. Albert Historical Society has embarked on a new project to continue to document and preserve the last thirty years (1985-2015) in St. Albert local history.

The Planning, research, writing and editing for “A Bridge Over Time” are now complete and the manuscript is now in the hands of the printer. “A Bridge Over Time” contains all of the historical information included in “The Black Robe’s Vision” (less the family stories) and, in addition, updates the history of St. Albert to 2016. The publication being over 700 pages in length, is contained in one volume and has a comprehensive index as well as an appendix of handy facts.
“A Bridge Over Time” will be released at an official launch on Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Forsyth Hall at St. Albert Public Library, beginning at 2:00 pm.
